  • TTHTI and IFSE Partner

    In September 2014, Dr. Patricia Butcher, Executive Director of the Trinidad and
    Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (TTHTI), Chaguaramas, visited the Italian
    Food Style Education Institute (IFSE) in Turin, Italy. This visit resulted in the signing of
    a Memorandum of Agreement between TTHTI & IFSE.

  • TTHTI takes top honours in ACTT's Quality in Tertiary Education (QuiTE) Awards

    The Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (TTTHTI) continues to demonstrate its pursuit and delivery of quality tertiary education and training. The Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT) on October 29, 2014 held its Quality in Tertiary Education (QuiTE) Awards and TTHTI captured two awards in the medium category.

  • ACTT QuiTE Awards 2016

    TTHTI took part in the ACTT QuiTE Awards 2016 in the category -
    "Excellence for an Established Quality Management Systems". ACTT
    believes and states that this is their highest category for awards and
    considers it to be a very prestigious award.

    For this category all institutions are put together regardless of
    their size, we are pleased to announce that we took second place.



On our calendar

  • Hospitality Awareness Month
    Where the students have the opportunity to evaluate the hospitality of the staff of TTHTI through various activities and competitions.
  • Excellence Day
    Where our top achievers are acknowledged and rewarded for their performance in academics and extra-curricular activities.
  • Mr. & Miss TTHTI
    This pageant and talent competition takes place as part of the Excellence Day celebrations, where students take part in the competition and the male and female winners are crowned Mr. & Miss TTHTI respectively.
  • Iron Chef Competition
    The students showcase their culinary, baking & pastry and bartending skills in a similar format to that of the well known Food Network Iron Chef competition, but with a ‘Trini’ twist.
  • Sports & Family Day
    This fun day does not have many of the traditional track and field events but provides for everyone to be able to take part in fun and novelty events such as 8 in a sack race, hula hoop race, walk and wine, etc.
  • Taste of Carnival
    Our premier event hosted on the Friday before Carnival where everyone on campus has a significant role to play in its success. This sold out event every year raises finances for our Scholarship Fund.
