In Plant Training

Trinidad and Tobago's Hospitality and Tourism Institute’s (TTHTI's) In-Plant training was introduced as an effective business training tool fulfilling the internal training needs of the hospitality and tourism industry. The unique feature of this programme is its flexibility and convenience, meeting the specific requirements of each client.

The content and duration of each training session is customized individually in order to meet the client’s needs and training can be done at the client’s property or another suitable venue.

Training is not only limited to the culinary arts as TTHTI has delivered programmes related to Food & Beverage Service, Quality Customer Service, Tourism Awareness, Tour Guiding, Supervisory Skills and Housekeeping.

Bachelor's of Science Degree (Bsc.) in Culinary Management

The Bsc. in Culinary Management is the first of its kind in Trinidad and Tobago. It is only offered on a Part Time basis for a duration of one and a half (1 1/2) years. Please note: Applicants must first complete TTHTI's A.A.S. in Culinary Management or an equivalent programme with any other recognized Institution prior to pursuing the BSc. in Culinary Management.

This programme aims to develop for the hospitality industry, persons knowledgeable and skilled in the performance of complex, non routine culinary work with responsibility for the work of others and the management of resources.
